Served in their lofty, Chiefly-styled open-aired Main Bure, around a shared or intimate table, Lalati's pacific rim cuisine is an eclectic blend of seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, imported meats and decadent desserts, all of which are served using the freshest of ingredients, with a touch of tropical gourmet flair and the warm bula smile.

Skilfully-seasoned and artfully-prepared and presented by our Fijian chef Beato and his talented staff, lunches might include Pesto Chicken pizza from our brick pizza oven, Fish Tacos with fresh Roti, or Soba Noodles with fresh Wahoo. Dinners range from Seared Ahi with Wasabi Sauce, New Zealand Rack of Lamb or Tuna with Lemon-Caper Sauce.

Lunches and dinners are normally a set menu, but Beato and his friendly staff are only too happy to accommodate vegetarian or special dietary requests, so if you have something special on your mind, then please do not hesitate to ask for some palette pampering.

Recreation-so many choices:   Recreation literally means to re-create; to rejuvenate your mind, relax your body and lift your soul.  Lalati Resort and Spa, invites you to partake in any of the our tantalizing activities that will help you “re-create your body and soul”.

Complimentary diversions for those seeking a touch of adventure would include world-class snorkelling right out your front door, kayaking in tranquil Malumu Bay, guided hikes to the top of Beqa and village tours to discover life in a remote Fijian Village.. Shore diving in "Jayne's Lane", right in front of the resort, is a must for those seeking to discover exotic marine habitants like seahorses and ghost pipefish.

Beqa Lagoon, famous for its beautiful coral and diversified marine life, offers uncrowded scuba diving for all levels of divers. Our dive staff is eager to show you all the diversity of this unspoiled diving playground.  Recreational activities with cost would include game fishing, surfing, day trips to Suva, dive courses, wake boarding and water skiing, and golf trips to Pacific Harbour.

Kayaking
Explore Malumu Bay, our way, the kayak way. On single or double kayaks, you can leisurely work your way down Malumu Bay and lose yourself in the mangrove channel at the end of the bay. On the way, scare up some of the thousands of fruit bats who make Bat Island their home.

Fishing
We use an open eight meter punt type boat, the Luve-Ni-Wai, to go outside the reef and hunt for Tuna and Wahoo.; guide, tackle and bait included. Refreshments are served on board.

Hiking
Explore the huge stretches of beach and tidal pools at low tide, or take a guided trek to the top of Beqa and take in the magnificent panoramic views of Beqa Lagoon and beyond.

Surfing options Frigate's Passage, one of the best surf breaks in Fiji, is a fantastic world-class surf break, a consistent hollow left. It is surely not for the timid, but for the experienced and the surf enthusiast. Day trips to Frigates Passage are on our “party barge', the Buli Kula, and include panic lunch and refreshments.

Scuba divers and snorkelers can also enjoy the trips to Frigate's Passage. The wall diving is a pleasant change from the pinnacles of the Lagoon and the coral that forms the reef is an abundance of snorkelling pleasure.

5 Oceanfront Bures:
Each deluxe ocean front bure has 2 large bedrooms (accommodation capacity of maximum four persons) with a zip-apart king size bed in the main bedroom a second bedroom with a queen bed. There is a comfortable sitting area, a large beautifully tiled bath and shower area, and an oversized, covered veranda overlooking the sea and just a few feet away from the water's edge. Each bure has comfortable furniture and a hammock on the veranda, a mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities.

2 Hillside Bures:
The two hillside bures are set back from the beach among lush tropical gardens. These bures have only one bedroom but still include a comfortable sitting area and veranda. Due to its situation at the resort, not directly on water's edge, lower nightly rates are offered but rest assured that all the extras are included that make Lalati so special. Electrical power is 110 volt US type and power converters and adapter plugs are available.

Honeymoon Bure
Lalati now has one very spacious Honeymoon Bure.. perfect for a couple who wants the ultimate in privacy and space.  The new bure is oceanfront with a large deck complete with a spa tub big enough for four adults.  The outdoor courtyard has a waterfall .
