At Tokoriki Island
Resort you may decide to
do nothing at all. Hammocks abound to keep guests
relaxed. For the more active guests, Tokoriki
offers enough activities to keep the most active
person occupied all the time.
Complimentary Activities:
Snorkeling:
Tokoriki Island is surrounded by beautiful
tropical reefs that are immediately off the
beach in front of your bure. Fins and masks
are provided.
Sailing, windsurfer, paddle
boats and Hobie cat sailing is available
for all guests use.
Life jackets are also provided.
Glass bottom
boat:
A great way to view the reefs without getting
wet.
Fun fishing:
Handline fishing is scheduled regularly
on our Activities Board. You are also
welcome to try your luck from the beach.
Basket weaving:
Join the activities team for a lesson
in the age old tradition of basket
weaving.
Coconut show:
Learn the different uses of the coconut,
from husk to flesh. Drink some coconut
milk and
taste the sweet fresh coconut.
Sulu tying:
Sulus are the traditional Fijian
dress worn by both men and woman.
This is
such a versatile
piece of fabric and our activities
team loves showing you how to wear
it.
Tennis:
The all weather floodlit tennis
court is to the rear of bures
1, 2 and
3. Racquets and
tennis balls are available from
the Activities Bure. Should you
wish
to use new tennis
balls, these are for sale in
the boutique.
Table tennis, badminton, pentaque:
Equipment is available from our
Activities Bure
at the swimming pool.
Volleyball:
Join the staff for a friendly
game or make up your own team.
Touch rugby: A fun filled game
of touch rugby takes place
on the playing
field
behind the
bures. Fiji against the rest
of the world!
Hill climb:
A fairly strenuous climb to
the top of the hill, but
the incredible
views
make
it really
worth your while. Early morning
is the best time to do this
hike.
Herbal medicine walk:
The activities team will
walk you through the property
and
point
out a variety
of local herbs
and medicines.
Board games:
A variety of board games
are available in the
lounge.
Jogging & walking:
The resort has a short
track for energetic
joggers or
else one could
take a stroll
on the white sandy
beach.
Guided tours and activities
are available at an
added fee.
Scuba diving:
The scuba diving in
the Tokoriki area
is magnificent
with
reefs teeming with
life
and large fans
covering the walls.

Village tour:
Visit Yanuya island
where the Tokoriki
staff comes
from.
See how our village
ladies create
pottery using
ancient techniques. Visit

drink some kava

the elders.
Honeymoon island picnic:
Just a 10 minute
boat ride takes
you to a
private island
where you can
enjoy a
private
picnic
for two on
your own
deserted
stretch of
beach.
Game fishing:
Charter the
Duke for
a game fishing
trip
and bring
back
trevally,
tuna, dorado
or walu for
dinner.
Sport fishing:
A couple
of hours
on the
water
with light
tackle
and you
can bring lunch
home -
coral trout,
skip jack
or wahu.
Banana boat rides:
Enjoy yourself
in the
water
as you
ride
the wake on
a fun
banana boat.
