Caroline has been gigging in the Bay Area for almost ten years and has played in every kind of band imaginable from Pop to Rock, from Reggae to Calypso and now has been seriously involved in Brazilian and Jazz. She leads her own bands and can be seen gigging regularly at the Cosmopolitan Café, Butterfly Restaurant, Chaya, Bacar Jupiter’s, the Cigar Bar and the Elbo Room.
There are several trios she works with and the musicians involved are some of the best around. She has a piano and sax trio that plays more traditional jazz with a mix of Be Bop, Swing, Latin and Bossa Nova. The guitar trio is a bit more eclectic using straight ahead jazz as the guideline but combining pop and rock songs that we all love like the Beatles, Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix. The musicians in all her trios are professional, working musicians and can also be seen playing around town with various other groups.
