Hailed as the premier professional chamber music ensemble in the Louisville area, we have played for events such as weddings, receptions, dinners, church services, concerts, recitals, car shows, corporate parties, and government functions.
We were chosen to perform at the Capital Building in Frankfort, Louisville's City Hall, Humana, LGE, Philip-Morris, Courier-Journal, General Electric, the Galleria, Brown-Foreman, Churchill Downs, and best of all - we were chosen by thousands of brides just like you who wanted their wedding to have the finest music available. You know you are getting the finest musicians Louisville has to offer - and isn't that what you want? We are especially proud to be chosen by many families to play for the wedding of every daughter in the family. But I urge you to judge for yourself, call Jack Griffin today at (502) 777-4789 to get a free demo CD mailed to you. After listening, I think you will make the same choice as many, many others before you.
Our musicians play for approximately 250-300 events each year ranging from string quartets and trios for wedding and receptions to large, symphony orchestras for corporate performances.
Formed by Jack Griffin, 1st chair violist with the Louisville Orchestra for over 20 years, Louisville's most discriminating patrons have chosen Commonwealth Musicians because they know they will be hearing their music performed by dedicated, responsible musicians dedicated to quality not only in the music they play but also in appearance, attitude, punctuality, and all other matters demanded as a professional.
All aspects of your wedding music are handled personally by Jack Griffin who was chosen to play full-time in the Louisville Orchestra while still in high school. Our musicians are the best Louisville has to offer. Whether you are looking for a string quartet or trio for your wedding, harpist for your afternoon brunch, or some lively dance music for your reception, you can be confident the musicians playing for you make music their life and want you to be so happy with them that you will tell your friends, family, and neighbors.
