We provide a very personalized and individualized approach to the music for your wedding or event. Promptness, reliability, performance quality, interactions with the audience and overall impressions make our ensembles and soloists the most talented and most professional in the New Orleans area.
We specialize in classical and jazz soloists and ensembles for wedding ceremonies, receptions, brunches, and private parties.
Our classical musicians include: Violin, viola, cello, trumpet, organ/piano, harp, flute, vocal soprano, vocal tenor; as well as other brass and woodwind ensembles.
Our jazz ensembles consist of trumpet, saxophone, trombone, clarinet, piano/keyboards, guitar, banjo, upright and electric bass, and a variety of percussion.
Choosing your musicians carefully is crucial to a successful soire’e–you don’t want your event to be memorable for the wrong reasons. Whether you need a bluegrass or klezmer band in Biloxi, a salsa, swing, or celtic band in Baton Rouge, a string orchestra in Mandeville, a brass quintet or jazz combo in Gretna, or a wedding ceremony ensemble or DJ in the French Quarter, we handle it all.
Birthday parties, bat or bar mitzvahs, weddings, corporate, whatever the event calls for, live bands are an exceptional choice. Set the tone and generate a unique atmosphere for your event by taking advantage of the fine musicians our area has to offer. Other genres of ensembles available include big band, swing, bluegrass, blues, motown/R&B, irish, jewish/klezmer, jazz, latin, salsa, and classical.
Wedding Ceremonies
For most wedding ceremonies, we play for 30 minutes before your ceremony while your guests are arriving, whatever music you need for the ceremony’s processions, parts of the ceremony, and 2 pieces at the ceremony’s conclusion.
Arrangements can be made for your ensemble to stay and perform for your dinner, cocktail hour, or reception.
Throughout this whole process, We’ll assist you in going over every detail of the ceremony and reception including selecting musicians and music, working with your coordinator, family members, and officiant; and will stay in close contact as the date approaches to make sure that everything goes as planned. We coordinate and arrange music and musicians for weddings and receptions on a weekly basis. We’ve performed music for countless events and have not had a negative review yet!
Special Events
We specialize in performing elegant & diverse music for corporate events, art show openings and concerts for museums, churches, institutions, colleges, public and private schools, and senior citizen or retirement centers. We provide soloists, duets, trios, quartets, quintets, octets and chamber orchestras which are comprised of varying combinations of violin, flute, cello, viola, solo soprano, piano, oboe, solo harp, and classical guitar.
We offer small jazz combos which play light dinner jazz. We have jazz big bands (playing the classic jazz music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Glenn Miller) who will get everyone dancing after dinner. We also have jazz swing bands which will play a wide array of jazz music ranging from the sophisticated big jazz band sound to the more modern swing jazz bands and jazz musicians such as The Brian Setzer Orchestra and Harry Connick Jr. Popular solo jazz musicians include singers, horns players, guitarists, pianists, and string players.
Other genres of ensembles include big band, swing, bluegrass, country, blues, disco, motown, R&B, irish, jewish/klezmer, jazz, latin, salsa, and classical.
