Excellent
musicianship, a repertoire spanning six decades of universally
popular music and a true dedication to professionalism
have been the foundation of our reputation as one of
the premier bands in the CT/NY metropolitan area. “The
music makes the party!” and since 1983, “Celebration!”
has made the music that “made the party” for over one
thousand weddings, country club dances, corporate and
private functions.
The
eight-piece band features dynamic male and female vocalists,
the “Celebration! Horns O’Plenty” (trumpet and sax)
and the “Big Groove Rhythm Section” (bass, drums, guitar
and keyboard). An additional horn is a available as
an optional ninth piece. Three of the instrumentalists
are also lead and background singers giving us the capability
of four and five part harmonies and adding an extra
dimension to the vocal arrangements.
Our
repertoire includes the best music of the past six decades:
Jazz, Swing & Big Band, Oldies & Classic Rock, Motown,
Disco & Funk , 80’s, 90’s and Contemporary. It’s your
party – you tell us your preferences – what you like
and what you don’t like, and we’ll take it from there.

the time: “I had a great time – where did you get that
band??!!”
