Even
as a professional musician, I did not realize until my husband
and I got married just how integral the music and the quality
of the musicians are to the experience of matrimony. After our
honeymoon, I created Venus Ensembles so that every couple could
have concert-quality music at their wedding - just as we did.
As graduates of Juilliard, we had the opportunity to select
simply the best players for our wedding without any worries
about professionalism or quality. Giving this unique option
to other brides and grooms is the principle on which Venus Ensembles
is founded.
The full-time professional
musicians I provide have been trained at only the best music
schools, including the Juilliard School in New York, the Paris
Conservatoire, and the Guildhall School in London. My colleagues
and I regularly perform at Carnegie Hall, in Lincoln Center,
and on Broadway as soloists, chamber musicians, or with renowned
orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan
Opera Orchestra, and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
When listening
to the following pieces, you will hear both the traditional
wedding choices, as well as beautiful and exciting classical
selections that neither you or your guests may have ever heard
before at a wedding. We also have a large repertoire of love
songs, jazz, broadway, ragtime, and other modern favorites for
your cocktail hour and dinner reception.
