Emerson Photography is a location portrait studio specializing in wedding- family-children portraits, executive business portraits, public relations head shots, model-actor-band portfolios, and nature-adventure photos.
All photographs are created by Mark L. Emerson. Mark is an alumnus of Paul Smith’s College and Long Island University at Southampton. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing, Management, and Photography. He has worked for some of the leading portrait and commercial photography studios in the Capital District of New York State. Consequently in 1998 Mark decided to set up his own business.

Emerson Photography is dedicated to providing their clients with the time necessary to create quality images at an affordable price. All photography is done by appointment only, therefore they can allot the time needed to a "no lines - no waiting" approach. Mark utilizes his schooling and experience to create stunning photographs that can be enjoyed over a lifetime.

Weddings

Mark´s mission is to document your wedding day with emotional "story telling" images. The importance of his objective can not be over stated because this is one of the most joyous days of your life. Mark will photograph your wedding day unobtrusively using professional equipment and an assistant. His work is printed by one of the countries leading photo labs and quality prints are guaranteed.

His approach is contemporary yet traditional. He feels wedding photographs should consist of not just photojournalistic prints but posed prints as well. Mark can provide you with digital or film services, and prints in either color or B&W.

His photographs have appeared in several publications.
